The Transplant Games of America are held every two years for transplant recipients and living donors. Competition events are open to living donors, organ transplant recipients and bone marrow and tissue transplant recipients.

Donate Life Indiana manages Team Indiana and supports the team by raising the necessary funds to send the team to the games. Team Indiana’s goals are to raise awareness about organ donation and register more Hoosiers to become organ donors.

Who is Team Indiana?

Team Indiana is made up of transplant recipients, living donors, donor family members and healthcare professionals who support donation. Team members conduct fundraising events throughout the year, participate in awareness-raising events across the state, and for those attending the in-person games, prepare for competition

Who can participate?

Any organ, bone marrow, cornea or tissue recipient or living donor who is at least nine months our from transplantation or donation may participate in the medal events.

Donor family members are also encouraged to participate, as there are a number of events designed especially for them.

Healthcare professionals and others who have been impacted by donation and transplantation are invited to participate as non-competitors and support Team Indiana.
