Free Program for Students
The Donate Life program is a FREE program designed for students in grades 6 through 12 and college students. Organ donation experts worked with classroom teachers to develop the curriculum, which enhances any nursing and medical, health, anatomy, biology or career-related program. Our speakers and content introduce students to the world of organ donation and transplantation and educate them about the donation process. We promise to deliver top-notch, engaging experiences for teachers and students to apply to real life.
Our program features:
Active participation opportunities
Simulation experiences
Organ models
Tissue samples
Real-life stories from Hoosiers whose lives have been touched by donation
“100 Black Men Summer Academy has been pleased to partner with Donate Life Indiana/Indiana Donor Network for three years. During this time, we have watched our scholars move from hesitance and uncertainty to full engagement, knowledge and excitement through the professional presentations. Their brilliant combination of video, personal testimony, age-appropriate demonstrations and hands-on activity is always a hit for our third- to eighth-grade scholars, undoubtedly leaving them wanting more.”

“As a health teacher, I felt it was important to educate students about the importance of organ donation. I reached out to the professional and passionate staff of the Donate Life Indiana/Indiana Donor Network, and it has been a great relationship ever since. The presentations check all the boxes that a teacher hopes for in a guest presenter. The program is educational, keeps the students engaged and covers a topic that the students can apply to their lives. I would highly recommend this program to any educator that wants to engage their students in a lesson.”
